'Fling To Success' An Arts Documentary Video

'FLING TO SUCCESS' Has been filmed in New Zealand with the vision to show New Zealanders and Overseas Arts Festival Committees the excellent standard of Highland and National Dancing being attained here in New Zealand and also the in-roads into schools where the playing of bagpipes is now part of the curriculum of many secondary schools.

'FLING TO SUCCESS' commences with a montage of shots, a brief history of Scottish Settlers, playing the bagpipes in schools followed by family involvement and top dancers with their preparation for major events.  The involvement of  the New Zealand Academy in setting standards for dance and the New Zealand Championship events 18 years and Over.  The Championship events and the results show the diversity of the dancers and their training backgrounds and culminated in the awarding of the New Zealand Champion of Champions Title.
