Aug 08 - Centennial Awards
Hawkes Bay Teachers & Judges competiton recently hosted several more Centennial
Award events on Sat 16th Aug 2008.
On the left is Emma Cavaney who won the Centennial Award Under 8 Fling & Under
10 Sword, and Isabelle Merwood who won the Under 14 Highland Reel.
The Bay of Plenty Teachers & Judges also hosted several Centennial awards
at their competition held in Tauranga on the same Day. All events were Highland
Flings (left to right: Under 8 Bella Taylor, Under 10 Danielle Lamont, Under
12 A'ine Blackman, Under 14 Niamh Blackman, Under 16 & Open Brighid Blackman.)

Jun 08 - Hawkes Bay Piping & Dancing Centennial Awards
Results have been received from the Hawkes Bay P&D day held Saturday 21st June
where three Centennial Events were competed for:
Winners:
- Jayden Withington - Centennial Award Irish Reel 14 & Over
- Nicole Harvey - Centennial Award Sailors Hornpipe Under 12yrs
- Rebekah Emmett - Centennial Award Irish Jig Under 10yrs
These were presented by our HB President - Bruce Cawood who was also a piper
for the day.
